PhD Assembly

The Bonn International Graduate School “Immunosciences and Infection” has two new PhD speakers. We congratulate Carolin Birr (AG Bald) and
Franziska Schneppenheim (AG Bald).

PhD Speakers

Hey, I’m Caro. I’m in my second year of my PhD, where I’m passionate about working with CAR T-cells to advance cancer research.

When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy taking fitness classes with friends, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and relaxing with friends over a coffee or an Aperol Spritz.

As a PhD speaker, I’m really looking forward to exchanging ideas and connecting with all of you!

Hey, I am Franzi, a third year PhD student. In my research I focus on developing single-domain antibody-based cancer therapies, with a focus on CAR-T cells.

Next to science I like to watch movies, baking, and meetig up with friends to enjoy some food and drinks.

As a PhD speaker I would like to be of any help I possibly can and just connect with all of you.

PhD Gathering

Do not miss the next PhD Gathering!
As PhD speakers we organize Gatherings on a regular basis. You get the information via our Slack channel, via email and via flyers in your institute. Everyone is welcome to join the gatherings and depending on the weather we go for beer gardens, pubs, karaoke,… and we are open to other suggestions from you! The events are always very popular and funny and it is an amazing chance to get to know people from your institute but also to get in touch with new people. We believe this is a great opportunity to build a social and scientific network.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
